I found a 5l tin of diesel that's probably going on for 20 years old. I don't want to put it in the car, but the council recycling centre doesn't take it.
What does the forum think? Can I just burn it? Even if I can, there must be a better option...
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".

CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Presumably the marina at Port Edgar would have facilities for old fuel. You might alternatively try decanting it through a fuel filter to clean it and skim off any water, after which case you could probably put it in a diesel car, perhaps bit by bit.
