If anyone in the Edinburgh area is taking delivery of a new bike soon, and you don't need its delivery box, could I have it?
I have a colleague returning home to Hungary soon (for good) and she'd love to take her bicycle with her.
Ta.

IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Perhaps one of the bike shops would give her one? They must end up with dozens to dispose of especially after recent sales...
Yep, I've had empty bike boxes from Alpine a couple of times to pack bikes for travel - I'm sure other bike shops would be as helpful (they just put them to the recycling anyway).
Make sure it's well padded and even better insured...
Got loads out the back of my shop at the moment if you want to come and get one. I forgot to put my recycling out over Chrimbo...
Thanks everyone.
@HartsCyclery I have mentioned this to Monika and she will try to pop in over the next couple of days.
If she doesn't manage, I'll have the car at work on Thursday so could maybe pop in then if convenient?
Cheers again.
I have one! Poised to go to the dump. Murrayfield.
