Just wondered if anyone knows how this roll out is progressing?
I'm in the Gyle area of the city and live in a flat so a bike parking pod would save me hauling the bike up and down the stairs all the time.
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!

Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Would love to see those everywhere, provision for secure bike parking is woeful for flats generally. I'm lucky enough to have a bike store as part of my flat but of all the bikes therein only mine and one other person's are ever used regularly (I have my Audax and commuting bike), so it's rammed with bikes that perhaps see no more than a summer pootle up the canal taking up room.
