    Delighted to say that our very own @ARobComp has agreed to take the interviewer role for this event.

    And @algo will be doing a spot of music.

    CCE is a hotbed of talent and energy.

    @Iain McR I'd suggest verbally via megaphone in an obscure Eastern European dialect.

    There will be an open Q&A. I shall revel in it and so shall you. Remember my mum will be there.

    Fairly that. She's a wee bitty deef kind, so mind an spik up loon.

    @unhurt, @jdanielp

    No rules in a knife fight. I'm exposed here. Bring your A games.

    Overlander is now on the shelves of several Edinburgh book shops.

    Just saying.

    @IWRATS Excellent news!
    So now we can read it before the launch and point out any typos?

    @bill

    Trumpian: I gave them great copy. The best copy. If the editor and the proofreader and the printer messed it up that's SAD.

    Mayesque: As I said in Grimsby the text is perfect. You the reader have demanded perfect text. If your eyeballs stand in the way and persist in detecting error there is only one course of action.

    IWRATSian: But all of the pages are blank.

    Authorial: Typos? Hahahhahaha....rather more worried that the book's rubbish and the whole thing's an elaborate wind-up and I'll be exposed as a fraud and beaten in the streets by angry readers...

    but my partner has a worryingly suspect peritonitis following recent emergency appendix surgery

    so its all a bit up in the air at the minute

    ah, the wonderful and frightening world of the N H S

    Nothing would give me greater pleasure than knowing your worldly cares had abated to the point where you could be there. There will be a seat.

    Just heard @iwrats on Radio Scotland at 1500 today sharing his love of cycling adventure and the delights of Badenoch.
    Recounted tale of meeting someone wanting to look round a bothy he was overnighting in.
    Turns out she was the landowner (4x4 hidden I bet).
    Andy maybe resisted telling her he's great friend/supporter of Andy Wightman.

    I have my launch ticket and an actual non electric book on order. Looking forward to it.

    Great news fellow cyclists. 70 attendees the last time I asked a week ago so should be a good crowd.

    I'm on at about 01:06:40 if anyone wants a laugh. Haven't heard my own voice for years. I sound really central belt.
