    ... because I got a bike with drop-bars!

Now I have to learn how to stay upright while I wave my hand around and how to not fall into the canal again.

Very nice bike, is it lilac and white? Very excellent mudguards. Thing is Bill, this is exactly the sort of bicycle I thought you were already using.

Nice. Long may the drivetrain remain so clean...

@gembo the colour is lilac (I am told) but looks white from a distance. My bike so far has been a humble hybrid. It served well but it starts to fall apart.

this is exactly the sort of bicycle I thought you were already using.
    Maybe it's a destiny then?

@Snowy haha! I am really enjoying how clean it is for now. Maybe I should keep it inside for now and just look at it...

@jdanielp thanks. For now I am going to walk across the aqueduct...

@amir clearly I am not even cool enough to know that...

My new bike is lilac too. Lavender even. And Jones H-loops are pretty cowhorn-like.

My commuter bike is grey but with a lilac/purple 'flip' that is visible under certain conditions. Colleagues at work tease me for having a 'pink' bike. I like its finish regardless.

Pink bikes rock. Pink was a male colour until the 1930s and now it belongs to everyone.

Pink is a male colour. Also available to anyone else.
