Not sure of numbers because of the strike tomorrow - lots of JGPS marching from school to the meadows so we're still running the bike bus as planned

Hoping to make it again, but may be at the coo's tail again, and will have to leave sharpish too.

Thank you enormously @biketrain, @Frenchy, @IWRATS and @Roibeard - that was an excellent bus - all the problems of the fragmenting were solved thanks in large part to your enormous help at the back. I am immensely grateful - it's really hard to run these community events like this without help from this forum network of excellent folk.

The kids are all immensely grateful too, but they say with happy shouty banter...

Super effort on a dreary morning. Inspiring more to get active on way to school.

Thanks @Laidback - Costorphine and Davidson Mains had bike buses today I think.

Thanks as always @Frenchy and @Roibeard for their stalwart support. Today the gates at the north end of the Astley Ainslie weren't opened even though I got the confirmation that they would be so it wasn't as smooth as sometimes. Also as a result the video I took has some dissent - thanks @Frenchy for politely responding. I am considering whether I need to respond or just leave it.

Not convinced there's anything to be gained there.

I think you're right. I responded to the first in a fairly matter-of-fact way, but I don't think anything I say will make anything better

Shame the gates at AA were closed as that's a really good route.
I realised after I posted that a troll posting keep left had responded. Handled it fine though as all the group filtered through correctly. Outriders topping and tailing event are allowed some latitude.
@chdot will remember some of the ones we did with TryCycling.

Looks like Currie Primary could do with some assistance

@neddie no actual currie group just someone willing to join if one is set up. I can ask my big mate to set one up. How would he do that? I will help but it wont be the last Friday of the month if i am involved

@gembo there's quite a bit of planning and work involved in setting one up. Crucial is parent engagement and should really be led by a parent at the school. Is your big mate associated with the school? I have offered to meet up with folk to show them what we did.

Maybe not just for the school run? https://twitter.com/_SusieRose/status/1180182788668047367

@gembo - excellent - please let him know I am happy to meet and discuss what we did - I can pass on what we've learned and what I learned from @roibeard in particular
