Toronto has a very good bikeshare scheme, which I used a lot when I was there.

I cycled around Toronto for a couple of days in 2009, mostly sightseeing with TwoWheels (once OTP). Stayed at the HI Toronto Hostel, and visited things like the Ontario Legislative Building and the Danforth & Pape intersection. Later on I went up the CN Tower, the Manulife Centre, spent time with Ray and Martin at Bluevelo (such as it was then), ate Chinese, and generally made it up as I went along.

I loved the city, and the general standard of driving was an order of magnitude better than here.

The Waterfront Trail is worth exploring, for as long as you have time really.

@Splitshift . Yes, well maybe. Don't bikes across the pond have brake levers on the opposite ends of the handlebars?

Watch for coaster brakes, if you are in the habbit of peddaling backwards.
