I think the increase in number of women cycling in Edinburgh has increased more, in recent years, as a percentage of the overall increase.But that is merely a perception.
The Council paid for a survey 4 years ago, I assume a note was made of gender -
might be worth repeating in 2011.

Given that the Scottish Govt has set this target for 10% of journeys to be made by bicycle by 20something, how are they measuring it. Do they do an annual survey?

2020. I think they are quietly ignoring it and hoping it'll go away.
