We now have an Eventbrite page for the talk.
Hoping to see a good number of Edinburgh's all-powerful bicycle lobby there.
We'd be really grateful if you could share this with any people or groups you think may be interested.
What do great places look and feel like? Is it possible to redesign our streets and get about in different ways? What makes a vibrant local economy? How can we encourage more walking and cycling? Can we have cleaner air and reduce climate change emissions? How does transformation happen?
This event will give attendees a chance to learn from two speakers who are involved in improving local places. Come along and hear about the Waltham Forest Mini-Holland experience, and from the Sustrans Scotland Places for Everyone initiative.
There’ll be time for questions at the end as well as a chance to browse the Spokes stall and buy the latest Spokes cycling maps.
Speakers:
- Paul Gasson - Waltham Forest Cycling Campaign
- Tierney Lovell - Sustrans Scotland
- Dr. Caroline Brown (Q&A chair)
Suggested donation of £3 per person (at the event).
Doors open, 7:15.
