Rod brake blocks ordered from cyclesofyesteryear (they sell the bikes still with rod brakes but they have taken my money and not delivered)

Cycle service had rod brakes in stock but they were longer and too shallow to make contact with the rim

Hannah after a photo which I have taken but also taken the block off as that was easy enough

Query, tried inflating the tyres, they are Brompton size with schrader valves. They will inflate but the second I remove the pump they deflate. I have tried two different pumps and two different wheels. Any suggestions?

How long has this poor beast been sat unridden?

I will inspect and overhaul if possible for a coffee with a decent crema.

Thanks IWRATS, that is a good idea, single bean from Brazilian co-op in the grinder at the moment.

More than one bean but from a single origin at a certain altitude as specified on the pack

If that better beverage company is ever open I will get Cuban beans, it does open but not hours that suit customers
