Wondering if the cycle path from roseburn to south gyle cres is ok for cycling to the UPS pick up place. wondering about the union canal route as well as i dont tend to cycle this way much- thanks for advice.

Either route would work, but the tram path is wider and more direct. Roseburn Pk - Water of Leith - Baird Dr - tram path Balgreen to Edinburgh Park. A couple of dismounts needed to cross roads in Broomhouse via ped crossing, but otherwise uninterrupted.

This is definitely the most straightforward route - cycle.travel says only 700m on road, https://cycle.travel/map/journey/110074

The Canal is longer to get onto and you would need to come down Cutlins Road, so I would stick to the Bankhead path, or possibly make it a round trip!
