At the end of May, this alternative cycle path which is in place as a diversion to the Burnshot flyover in the North of Edinburgh, up the side of the A90, had not been maintained well and the 'mulch' on the diverted route was like ice.

As a result, whilst cycling back into Edinburgh, my bike went from under me, and when I tried to get on the same thing happened! As a result I was left bruised and have damaged my bike through no fault of my own, and I ride this route several times a week.

I wondered if anyone else on here had fallenin this area at the end of May and first week in June, before it was swept away?

Thank you for this - I have had to fill a claims form in Clarence sent and that could take 8 months! I was given advice my claim would be stronger if there was evidence that other people had fallen here also, and there was other notices saying how dangerous it is...... It was in such bad condition.
