We've all watched hours of his stunts and well made music videos / bike ballet. Now he's back in the park where his first stunts were filmed.

Going tomorrow, although received an email on Saturday:

Unfortunately, Danny had an awkward landing during a recent performance which has resulted in a knee injury, after an MRI he’s been advised by doctors to rest and recover. The good news is, Drop and Roll will go ahead as planned and Danny will still be there every day, alongside Duncan Shaw

So not sure the man himself will be doing much cycling.. but I believe they have substitute in place.

Minibiketrain, Midibiketrain and I cycled to see Drop and Roll in the Meadows.

Managed to lock the bikes to the Pallet Fence and kind security guard kept his eye on them whilst we were at the show.

We got in the queue early, so managed to avoid the unpopular seats, which were behind the ‘Tent Poles’.

The show was compared by a ring master, who was great at explaining what was going on and building an atmosphere. This allowed the performers, Danny, Duncan on Trail bikes and someone on a BMX to focus on their stunts and rearrange the set between stunts. Lots of prizes where thrown into the audience during these micro intervals so the atmosphere was kept alive.

As for the stunts, all three performers where excellent, with a well-choreographed routine. Naturally the stunts and tricks started at amazing at just got more impossible. It was great to see Danny and Co. up close, to be a few feet from the action. My children kept looking at me and saying ‘did that just happen’?. They really enjoyed the show. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoyed Danny’s videos.

Wishing Danny an quick and full recovery.

Yes - we'll all second that!

I should have said 'amazed and blown away' by his videos. 'Watching' is a bit of passive word for his high energy forays to inspired locations. Also love the music choices made. It's a bike/art/music project that communicates with non-cyclists too.

    Saw this on Monday.

Four rider: Duncan Shaw, Ali Clarkson, BMX guy and also Danny who actually did an impresive amount of stunts despite his injury.

Danny got across the railings on the 5th attempt (how does this compare to other shows?)

Like pretty much every action-packed fringe show could have been compressed to 40 minutes, but didn't feel too long.
