Noticed the junction at Bonnington Toll has been upgraded and now has early release signals. Are these going to be standard with refurbished junctions? Considering there weren’t even ASLs there before I wouldn’t have thought it would be a priority for early release signals.
Perhaps to deal with displaced cycle traffic from Leith Walk during tram works?
"New traffic lights at Bonnington Toll will include a 5-second early release phase for cyclists. They will come into effect in Oct, once resurfacing and painting of stop lines/bike lanes are completed."
