a lesson learned, or probably not as it seems to repeat.

Stupid spanner: Been carrying it for months, used once now in the bin.

lovely new Park Tools one now, with integrated bottle opener.

I am still using the valve spanners that my dear old grandad took from the Luftwaffe in payment for the inconvenience of having to fight the mechanised fascist army they'd sent to enslave his family.

Very high quality stuff. Made him Aberdeen's very first Metric Martyr too.

Don't belittle the integrated bottle opener; essential as the IDF discovered in the 70's (hence the uzi was developed with one built in to replace the many broken and unreliable M16s that had been misused).

Mrs Garto gave me an ultimatum yesterday. Either I came now and could get a lift to Aldi or I could stay out watching the last 20 mins of cycling World Champs. I opted for the latter. So no lights at Aldi this morning. Not that bothered as the pack has a great front light but the back light has an issue with the fixing. It was back lights I was after.

So i walked down to canon mills at lunch time and ordered two Lezyne back lights from EBC
