    There are proposals for creating a CPZ in Gorgie and other areas, which is what you're maybe thinking of. No thread (yet) but discussed here: http://citycyclingedinburgh.info/bbpress/topic.php?id=17102&page=8

    Off topic I wonder what strange political wranglings created zone N5 with a gap in the middle for the modern art gallery and St Georges.

    I think the gap is completely private land isn't it? So no adopted roads on which to control parking anyway.

    Thank you. That explains why I can't find Gorgie/Dalry anywhere!

    I'm aware of the CPZ proposals and have responded positively to them.
