My partner had issues with someone on the canal aqueduct tonight - I don't know if this is the same person/people who caused issues before, so for the moment I haven't linked to previous discussions - but thought people might like a warning.

Around 16:40. A person was standing on the narrow aqueduct towpath, with a bike and a trailer, blocking progress - with a radio in the trailer playing loudly. My partner tried to get his attention, and he ignored her. He eventually said something about her having cycled on the aqueduct. She tried to turn off the radio to make it possible to talk and he shouted aggressively.

There was a second woman also on a bike also held up.

The situation was resolved because a third person, a man, appeared - and the three of them agreed with each other to edge past.

My usual suspect in these matters is recognisable by the carrier bags on the handlebars, but she doesn't have a trailer.

@Greenroofer I saw your usual suspect on Friday and as you say no trailer. Carrier bags on the handlebars and a metal shopping basket on the rear rack.

Interesting development. I've seen a person with bike and trailer near to or crossing the aqueduct a few times this year but don't remember a radio or anybody experiencing extra hassle other than having to edge around it.
