Can't be bad - looks massive. Assume it is for northbound only or does it double up as longer Azuma platform in both directions?
One day wheelchair access to Burntisland will be sorted @chdot !?

    Bit grand/gross.

I was just thinking the same. Standard uninspiring kit built nonsense that is completely out of keeping with the architectural vernacular.

    This happened

Then there was an internal ‘rail industry’ meeting.

    Since then silence.

    Followed by franchise stripping.

Last week the Managing Director of Scotland’s Railway (ScotRail and Network Rail Scotland), Alex Hynes, paid his first visit to Burntisland...

Fact that you had a visit is good thing and should help.

The Scotland's Railway MD role is actually a streamlining of the sort that could work elsewhere. I researched and realised he does oversee both Abellio and NR here.
So when we nationalise the railway in Scotland then much easier.

Of course Abellio has two years left.

Interesting that they've come up with a (not very useful) new brand - used to just be the Scotrail Alliance.
