New David Tennant series starts with a bike race. Quite quick as they go through kilkbarchan then turn corner and get to Dunlop.

    Does then get quite grim

Campsite fells is i guess what the only Scottish place name there would be with the word Fell therein?

Bike race didn't have a big flotilla of cars. Police motorbikes.
Was good touch though - reminded of school at East Saltoun for Tour of Britain. Had all the children with signs out for the pros to whirl by.

It looks like a crime has been committed but no Procurator Fiscal yet. Sure local police have broken data protection. Not Police Scotland but some rogue outfit.
'Guilt' started better. (Only other recent Scottish produced one I've watched)

    Campsie Fells yes. Goat Fell?

Deadwater Law would surely have been a better title, but confusing for the sassenachs

Watching on catch up was good as removed adverts. Guilt better as it had some levity. This is really just grim. Goat Fell yes.

    THe name is bad.

@LaidBack - Guilt was really good. Mark Bonnar was first rate in it. He was terrific as the dodgy Deputy Chief Constable in one series of Line of Duty as well.

However on the pedantry line, wasn't it supposed to be set in a suburb near Leith (I couldn't imagine which one). At one point the brother says he's going to catch a tram. In Leith?

@Rosie the record shop was supposed to be in LEith.

Only bits filmed in Edinburgh occur when they are parked at top of Calton Huill like you used to be able to do.

Mark Bonnar does suppressed rage v. well
