    Sure most here will know the name and the fact that he valued the old architecture of the High St.
    His promotion of people having a feeling of place in a city is one to celebrate. Even if tartan tat and AirBnB has distorted things.

    His influence is international with city layout involvement in Tel Aviv and other places firth of Scotland.

    No idea of he ever cycled but sure he would never have put car space before people space.

    Thon chiel wis fae Ballater. Invented the valley section and the idea of the leaf economy. Never heard his name at school, oddly.
