A Claude Butler was thrown onto the premises of one of my workplaces several months ago.

If it's reported stolen, we'd like to hand it over to the police. If not, we'd like to get it to a charity that could give it a service and get it back on the road.

Any idea how we find this out without spending ages? I've looked around a few 'stolen bike' websites and not found anything.

There's every possibility that the bike is just a bike.

It's worth reporting it to the Police if you have tried checking the frame number against BikeRegister and Veloeye (for example) and come up with nothing.

I suppose if you happen to have a UV torch, you could look for a fluorescent security marking.

    Supposed to hand to police

If unclaimed after 3 months (I think) it’s yours

Folding bike in the tunnel by WOL near Balgreen left with no obvious owner nearby (seen a couple of times). May just have broken down on the way home of course.
