French pataphysician, wrote Pere Ubu, died at turn of 20th century of drinking absinthe from breakfast onwards. Lived in subdivided flat horizontally at 1.75 meters . He was 5 foot tall. And finally had a bicycle called Clementine which was his beloved.

Ubu Roi is truly bonkers. I have lost my copy, think I lent it to an erstwhile friend of whom I remain fond.
