I actually flinched when I saw them lined up in the photo in hi-viz. 'What about the snipers?' I thought. The Israelis invented a special silent low-powered rifle for shooting watch dogs in advance of dawn raids and now they've hit on the idea of pretty much shooting anybody with it at any time for any reason.
The psychology of that is grimly fascinating.
