Was coming up Harburn on to A70 today. Bit windy. Little traffic. I hear a vehicle behind me but see a car in front so I give the vehicle the hold back signal (Palm of hand). When clear I give them the big haymaker You can overtake now signal.

When they did so turned out it was The Polis. Which was funny to me.

One driver* on the A70 stopped car in road at high point. Driver got out to look over Pentlands and take a picture. Normally impossible as no lay by.
    Was very quiet though @gembo
Couple of timber trucks and HiLux with trailer. No Porsches!
If you own a flash car you really can't use it easily - many have minimal boot space for shopping.

*Edit: modest car and may have been key worker. Need to be less judgemental. I waved as went by as we need to stay connected. Joylessly being locked down is tough for everyone. Not everyone can cycle.

I once had to ask for directions for a Police Inspector who was taking me with him to a meeting. Luckily it was an unmarked patrol car, or it would have been embarassing to ask how to get to the local Police Station.
