Cant quite get to the bottom of the Cornelius.

I am guessing a brewery using Swastika?

Also in beer context is MTB not mountain bike?

Wrobel Is Polish for Sparrow - I know that.

@Gembo I was wondering where that was going to be! It's here for anyone else who wanted to know

The hotel business is a risky one although I'd back Brewdog in their ability to get this to work.

MTB = Meet the Brewer, I think.

I've spent an unfortunate amount of time reading about various black metal bands and artists, trying to find out whether they're fascists or not. There's lots of more subtle symbolism to choose from, so I doubt the brewery was using overt fascist symbolism.

    Interesting dilemma.

Can a product (whether beer or something else) be fascist?

@crowriver, good point. Hugo Boss designed the nazi uniforms. Is that correct? Sgt Wilson admired these uniforms as did novelist Barbara Pym.

Sounded like book of the week was being narrated by Barbara Flynn on radio 4 this am was a biography of Barbara Pym

Riefenstahl’s movies facist I would say.

    Albert Speer’s buildings?

All my examples are close to Nazis.

Pop groups have often flirted with nazi iconography. joy Division and Birthday Party to name two,

Must admit I find the ‘runes = Nazi’ a very flimsy prospect but the headbanger interview was r ally bizzare.

In anycase, if Cornelius are selling off Blood Raven cheap I’ll gladly hoover it up..

Blood Ravens are Space Marines in Warhammer. Warhammer Nazis now?

@gembo, yes he was even a party member. Think I have a Hugo Boss jacket in the wardrobe somewhere. Should I sell it off cheap in aid of charity? Or maybe I can look at the specific context in which something is made rather than just come to sweeping judgements.

Hugo Boss didn't design Nazi uniforms, although his company (along with many others) did manufacture them.
