CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 16years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

She did not die after falling off her bike did she??
Natural causes.
I would nail this picture to the desks of everyone employed by, or connected to the running of, the City of Edinburgh Council.
If we aimed to get everyone tricycling around town at 104 all other political campaigns could be suspended.
Gyles Brandreth (@GylesB1) tweetled a photo a couple of weeks ago of him looking very happy cycling his Pashley tricycle (he's not quite as old as 104, I hasten to add).
The recumbent forums I frequent have a small but not insignificant proportion of riders who have given up two wheels somewhere around 75 - 80 and continue to get years of service and pleasure out of a trike. I hope I make it that long and have the health to do the same.
