Brilliantly rubbish bus driving

    I forgot to mention the bit of brilliantly bad bus driving I saw/caused on wed (I don't know if Kaputnik was behind me at that point or popped up somewhere else)

    Was just negotiating the morrison street/haymarket bit and could sense a bus looming behind me (of the white/purple/pink variety).

    I was going at a fair pace at this point and he roaringly tried to overtake me, missing his stop in the process. Cue some waving and rather annoyed passengers. Just a touch of the brakes and he could have stopped no problem.

    Rolled past him again when he was stopped 100m up the road.

    If it was a single-decker then I was almost run off the road into the roadworks at Western Corner by a white/purple/pink one on the same morning.

    When I saw the title of the thread, I made a little bet with myself as to the bus company involved.

    I wasn't disappointed.

    yeh, it's the ones that rhyme with the German word for sausage.

    I picked up my tricross from Mr Freewheelin - new cassette, rear mech, middle cog, , heavy duty touring style back wheel, and more, [little bit of rubbing and possible slippage that I am sure he can rectify] but left his shop in Shandon, overtook a 44 bus then stayed ahead of it until Balerno (it kept having to stop and as it is an LRT it waits to let you past it again). Was feeling bad about holding the passengers up from their dinners but on looking at my watch it only seems to have taken me a little over 20 mins so now I don't feel so bad. Just very skint.
