    Hi all,

The next Critical Mass ride will be on Saturday the 1st of May at 2pm. We're hoping to get momentum back up again as it was growing steadily last year before lockdown. Same route as before, ending up at the Parliament.

We want to be the noisy arm of the silent majority who want to see even more and better cycle infrastructure, and to show people what town could look/feel like if it was just full of bikes.

    Best wishes,
    Dan

Middle Meadow Walk at 2pm. The Facebook page asks attendees to gather on the grassy bit, rather than blocking the paths.

    The whole post reads:

The monthly Critical Mass bike ride in Edinburgh! *2pm*

[Note: the ride will be socially distanced, please wear masks]

Cyclists spontaneously taking to the roads at the same time to encourage people to cycle, to take back the roads and demand better, safer infrastructure.

Meet *2pm* on the grassy bit, don't block the paths. We will cycle socially distanced, but we keep in one block at a very slow pace.

Bring placards attached to your bike!

TELL ALL YOUR PALS! LET'S PUT BIKES BACK ON THE ROAD FOR THE SAKE OF PEOPLE AND PLANET!

+ Planning meeting Wednesday 21st Apr 8pm, to discuss promoting the event, media etc.

Thanks Lewiseason for beating me to it, and apologies for not including that.
