I came across this while down a YouTube rabbithole. I thought you might enjoy it (or at least the first few minutes) - the rest is mainly about a smouldering hedge.

Anyway, notice how the bike he jumps on at the start is Brandweer (Dutch fire service) branded? And how most of the rest of the crew get to the station? And the wonderful liveable streets that the fire engine goes down? And how bikes are visible all the way through: being ridden, being used as gawping points and just being around. I really thought that this looked like a really nice place to live (apart from the burning hedge, obviously).

It's also quite a cool fire appliance, but that's probably a more specialised interest...

Further exploration of the town where this happened is really interesting. There's barely a bike path in it, according to Google: just a few shared use pavements on the busiest roads. However, tellingly, there is a segregated path beside the main road between this town and the next one a few km away. It's just so well set up for everyone biking everywhere. There are a lot of cars too.

    Google view.
