Information is that the Class 153 'activity carriages' seen out and about last month on 'Zulu' (3Zxx) trains will be getting added to the Oban-Glasgow services

Operational issues mean that they cannot be added to the 'splitters' (2 carriages each for Oban, Fort Bill, and Mallaig) since the platform at Crianlarich only takes 6 carriages, so its likely to be 1Y25 (10.34 ex GLQ) and making 1 or 2 round trips, so it won't connect with the midday sailings - you'll need to catch 1Y21 (08.23 splitter) or 1Y31 (05.20), or use the Citylink 976 coach (between 08.30 and 09.00 summer/winter t/t)

EAPC have also arrived at Fort Bill (Bewegen as in Forth Valley & Mussleburgh)

Real Time Trains does already show the trains that are running on most Scotrail services, so I'm hoping that they'll also show the activity carriage on the relevant services

Might be worth trying to book a space?

Our #HighlandExplorer carriages have arrived! They'll enter service on the West Highland Line between Oban & Glasgow Queen St on Monday 19 July. They can carry 20 bikes, including a limited number of tandems & have an e-bike charge socket. We can’t wait to welcome you aboard!
