The SRD family is quite taken with this series (even if their boat and bike choices seem a bit poor)

Yes, it’s a really nice piece of slow telly.

There’s a good interview with them in last week’s Herald:

    I like their attitude.

Reminds me of this gem from my childhood:

Tonight’s episode, spending some days in a snowhole on the top of Cairngorm, was simply stunning.

Ben Fogle is also dotting about the Hebrides. Bit samey. But enjoyed the Mingulay (six golden eagles) to Berneray (prince Charles favourite beach and old luggy stying in a bed and breakfast like a normal person.).Episode.

Also the Iona episode was interesting when he finally sailed on to Iona.

He has now been there maybe a week and only one day of rain, the rest is glorious sunshine, it is an amazing advert for the tourist board though those in the know can see quite horizontal wind. Blowing at a pace.

I think this is great. I like their choice of adventures (Rannoch Moor by water is definitely on my list and we will be paddling on Loch Morar next week), their pace (it must take a long time to set up to film for a few seconds)

Only downside is that I think the narrator's accent is a bit put on and different to when he is chatting to his pal, but that is pretty minor.

For those who can't get enough, they have tons of earlier material here

The one about childcare is great.

and +1 for Stickman's recommendation of the article in the Herald.
