Friday morning coffee on Middle Meadow Walk?
On my way in, if one or two people would like to help with a brief but awkward piece of foliage trimming that would be most excellent? East of Harrison park.

Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Can do. before or after? what tools needed?
I have a meet at 9.30, so earlier better.
I should be around. How about we have coffee at the canal boat? Weather due to be okay and it's a lot closer to Harrison Park. What tools should I bring?
Just saying
Any thorns involved?
Places where I have done ‘pruning’ there’s plenty of nearby undergrowth to dispose of cuttings. This the case where you intend to work or will it need to be transported a bit?
I was thinking I could bring all the tools, so just bring gloves and (sun)glasses to avoid anything in the eyes. I can trim pretty quick but then clearing the trimmings takes about five times as long, and it's kind of narrow down there (the walled section).
I'll be there at 7am. Coffee at the canal boat is a good shout.
I'll be there for the coffee, very doubt I'd be early enough for the pruning. Sorry.
I can bring rakes or brooms? Sounds like you’ll be right behind us? Are you trimming the shrubbery that everyone shelters under when it rains?
Yeah, e.g. there's that one bit of ivy which is right down at head height. It doesn't all need chopped off, but just lifted up a bit. It used to annoy me on the commute even before covid..
Haha sitting in Soderberg waiting on my coffee wondering where everyone is! This is why you should always read the thread first. Will be there soon
Was thinking the same thing as am only one at barge.
Still waiting. Service is ….relaxed?
That’s why we used to get their self-serve filter coffee. No wAit.
also - apologies for not changing the thread title!

Thanks! Great morning. I think we filled that bag five times... (and still had to stop before it was quite done)
What weather!
Missed totally sorry.
Not been on forum for days. Would have helped as in my locale and have big cargo bike too that might have been useful.
Been so many things not going to plan this week.
My main email is down only got gmail working...
Yes, most satisfying getting that sorted. Incredible how long it takes to do - even powered by Dave's fearsome hedge trimming contraption, which wouldn't have looked out of place on Robot Wars.
Coffee at the barge positively Mediterranean.
