Getting to North Queensferry?

So it's supposed to be a nice day today and I thought I'd have a go at riding over to North Queensferry, but given the western path on the bridge still seems to be closed I can't seem to spy a convenient way to do that. Is there an underpass or the like that lets you cross the motorway just after the bridge? Or am I right in thinking the only two options are to hump the bike down the big set of stairs at the far side of the bridge, or else keep riding all the way along to Ferrytoll and take a chance down Ferryhill Road?

Another option is crossing at the toucan crossing here and going via Main Street. I don't know if this is any better or worse than Ferryhills Road.

Aha, serves me right for using google maps, there's no sign of that crossing on there. Dunno if it'll be better but it has the virtue of being shorter.

Down the steps is the quickest by far if you can manage the bike. The toucan crossing is definitely the best "uninterrupted" option.

Ferryhills Road or the Serpentine climbs are both good workouts and you can make a nice loop doing in by toucan crossing and out by Serpentine and Ferryhills road.
