Does anyone known anything about submitting videos of eg cars parking on cycle lanes? Would there be any point?

Submitting videos to police

Depends (slightly) on the type of cycle lane.
Painted - no point at all.
Protected - these are technically "cycletracks" rather than cycle lanes, so obstructing them is illegal, but I would be astonished if the police did anything.

I think you'd be better off making a case to the council/councillors that an area is subject to frequent abuse and that a step up in patrols is required.
If the area you're talking about isn't subject to appropriate decriminalised parking controls (ie. there's a double yellow line and kerb blips which forbid loading) or is outside the controlled parking area, you're probably stuffed there too though.
(I'm talking relatively better off here, in that there's a slight chance something might happen vs no chance at all.)

Thanks for the suggestions. Also the media, even the EEN, sometimes run videos of stand-out bad driving.

Has anyone on here had or know of a case where Police Scotland have prosecuted or issued a FPN for use of mobile phone whilst driving based on video evidence?
