Works due to start on this in June - whilst project is 'sealed' It will be useful to see how this progresses and develops

In news of projects at earlier stages (GRIP 2-3) there is provision being made to connect charging stands for E-bikes and E Bike hire in station upgrades, notably for Invergowrie which is under 2Km from Ninewells Hospital and gets an hourly train service from May timetable change

Providing for similar connections is being woven in to Borders Railway upgrades as well (Newcraighall &c)

Getting in early can be a useful key to unlocking the final delivery without complex and late reworking of a larger plan

Talking of Newcraighall, you might remember this -

The idea was a shorter link to QMU.

    Too expensive of course…

Time to remind John Lauder of some outstanding work?

    Well yes but

Unclear scope of his job, or how much he will set the ‘agenda’.

I hope he/they will set up some sort of ‘access to stations’ version of this (for the whole of Scotland) -

Encourage people to identify problems/opportunities - bit like people improving OSM.

I was in Stirling today for the first time since these works were completed and it's really impressive. Genuinely high quality stuff.

In fact, the whole Walk Cycle Live Stirling project seems to be coming along really well. Everything I saw looked really good.

    Looks good

I had worked out a route from the station to the College in the Raploch but this looks better.

Getting the bike on the train to Stirling from Edinburgh Park remains fraught,
