Probably been mentioned somewhere here already but I couldn't find it quickly, and a new thread for the actual consultation is probably useful anyway.
The Scottish Government is currently consulting on ideas for a new national park, adding to the two existing ones (Loch Lomond and the Cairngorms).
They're asking not just about possible locations, but about what the criteria for picking the new one should be (so "Accessible by active travel" might be a suggestion).
