    Saw two reported incidents yesterday

    a hit and run on old Dalkeith rd https://planetradio.co.uk/forth/local/news/edinburgh-hit-run-cyclist-injured/

    Both in places where there are bollarded (wanted) cycle lanes

    Cyclist lying on road just before 1100 today at the junction of Mayfield Road and Rankin Drive, in the northbound cycle lane here:

    Bike was propped against the wall and was a blue gravel/drop bar tourer with disks. Helmet worn.

    Cyclist appeared conscious. Some passers-by in attendance and the cyclist was covered with a red ambulance blanket so I proceeded on my way southbound.

    If a motor was involved (e.g. left hook), no evidence of it.
