Micro SRD and I are planning to attend the new Holyrood park run tomorrow. It apparently starts at st Margaret’s loch.
Is the best bike parking at the car park near the palace? Or somewhere else?
Thanks!

IT’S TRUE!

Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.

Thanks Frenchy! Locked to the Holyrood info sign as the racks were already all in use. No idea what others did. Lots of bikes. A bit frustrating how the park run website encourages bike use even though there’s not really adequate facilities.
Interesting parkrun. Much fitter/faster group than I recall from
the Cramond parkrun a few years ago.
Also ‘interesting’ dynamics with the groups of roadies climbing the hill at the same time. Mostly good natured, although I shook my head at an old guy who went up ringing his bell constantly ‘ding, ding, ding’.
Roughly 20 bike racks in Holyrood park.
Compares to roughly 175 car parking spaces (includes ~30 at Dunsapie Loch which aren't accessible when the high road's closed; doesn't included all the laybys on the high road).
