The internet is a strange place (not always in a good way - but I tend to stick to the better bits - like CCE!)

Twitter is similar, lots of ‘horror’ stories but also a useful source of info and useful campaigning tool.

Yesterday I noticed this (after the event unfortunately).

    So I looked up https://www.facebook.com/WoodlandWheel

Woodland Wheels is a Scottish Forestry project to empower our diverse communities! We cycle at leisurely pace to local woodlands, mostly off road.

Rides are free, led by experienced leaders & include woodland activities. Bikes are provided if needed.

Definitely not something I am aware of.

    Next Edinburgh Bike Doctors

    May be this -

    Anyone know anything?

I knew about this event, and “ More bike buses coming soon to schools”

But not “and sport clubs in Edinburgh”!

Would anyone be up for a #BikeBus from the Meadows to Portobello one weekend? @SpokesPorty @Algorhythmica1 @BikeBusEdin @Cyclesouthedin It's on my personal list of places I want to take the kids but can't find a safe route.

As far as I know, "Edinburgh Bike Doctors" are a group of mechanics who (used to?) work at The Bike Station. They started doing on-street bike repair events when the Bike Station stopped doing this. I think there may have been some kind of fall-out there but don't know anything close to the full story.
