Too soon!?
Anyone want to make public any giddy aspirations/intentions?
Only 3 years to wait...
CityCyclingEdinburgh was launched on the 27th of October 2009 as "an experiment".
IT’S TRUE!
CCE is 15years old!
Well done to ALL posters
It soon became useful and entertaining. There are regular posters, people who add useful info occasionally and plenty more who drop by to watch. That's fine. If you want to add news/comments it's easy to register and become a member.
RULES No personal insults. No swearing.

It's never too soon..............
I'll definitely be involved, that's for sure.
I'd like it to be as a rider, last 2 years haven't been very "Audax heavy" for me, but will turn that around. It seems like a nice goal to aim for.
I was regretting not riding in the first quarter, then I saw how hard it was later on. Big bundles of kudos to our lot for keeping going.
I'm half tempted to try for PBP, but it's complicated even to get to the start line. I might see what local options there are next year.
Really interested in due course to see what the feedback / changes are (if any) vs 2022, notably around:
- Dunfermline
- Mandatory (hillier) route
- Transit of Edinburgh city
- Issues with Humber Bridge Authority requiring marshalling etc due to spate of jumpers
Lots of new stuff there, I'm sure they will put something great together though.
A "London Glasgow London" would be an interesting idea, taking in more of the west coast but I guess crossing the midlands conurbation would be a hassle!
@HankChief A week ago I would say no way, I am riding it again. Today on the other hand...
Having had a great time riding, I'd love to be involved. I don't imagine I'll get a pass to train for it again so likely as a volunteer. Although there's also a chance that I'll be looking after the kids while Mrs A volunteers.
