I've seen two of these signs up now - one at the Blackford Pond entrance and the other on Midmar Drive behind the bowling club. Honestly, I don't understand them...

    1) Are they telling cyclists to slow down? Or people to slow down because of cyclists? I'm not sure how telling a cyclist to slow down on a 30mph road helps...

    2) Do they look official or are they DIY and made to look council official?

It looks to me like they are telling cyclists to slow down so that they can be captured by the pink alien tractor beam. Or maybe it’s a death ray that has been deployed by Grant Shapps.

No that is not a tractor beam that is clearly a rectangular tunnel they have just emerged from (having had to duck obviously). Quite how that bike work without spokes or a chain to drive the wheel is beyond me but there is an Edinburgh logo on the bottom so presumably it is SLOW DOWN for the invisible bin men that they cannot afford to clear the mountains of rubbish you are about to crash into...
