Scottish Trades Union Congress rally on pay and cost-of-living Thursday 2022-09-08 from 10:30
Trade unionists from across Scotland are set to march on the Scottish Parliament in protest at continuing public sector pay cuts as the cost-of-living emergency continues to push thousands of families throughout Scotland into poverty.
The march follows a widespread summit on the crisis held in June by the STUC and Poverty Alliance, bringing together Scotland’s largest coalition of community groups and trade unions against the rising costs of living.
Assemble in Edinburgh at 10.30am with rally at the Scottish Parliament 11.30am on Thursday 8 September.
