    WORLD CAR FREE DAY

Edinburgh is taking part in World Car Free Day on Sunday 2 October.

World Car Free Day Zone, Waverley Bridge, 11am to 7pm.

Join us for lots of information, demonstrations and inspiration. We'll help you find ways to reduce how often you use your car and build greener travel into your day.

Relax in the seating area and enjoy a car free street in the heart of Scotland’s capital. You can speak with experts, ask questions and even try some of the latest electric, cargo and adapted bikes which help even more people to choose car free travel.

Whatever your age or ability there will be something for you!

But Waverley Bridge is already [somewhat] closed to motor vehicles. Are any roads being closed for WCFD?

    That is so disappointing!

A stall and a handful of cargo bikes on a street already closed to cars ON THE WRONG BLOOMIN DAY!

    FFS Edinburgh. Do better!

    Nah

Edinburgh doesn’t want to do better.

    Tokenistic box ticking just fine.
