tweeted last night. tagged Edin council main account (since edin help down), and spokes and living streets, and cllr arthur.

no reply from anyone. also emailed a councillor.

anyone have a suggestion for who on council i should contact?

Have to assume cllr arthur doesn't look at twitter notifications?

    Can report this here: https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/streetlightproblem

Note that it says "If the problem is a threat to safety or more than five consecutive lights dark in one area please use our emergency contact number - 0131 200 2000"

    well that was dispiriting.

you can't report several lights online. you have to phone.

I went through all the menus, and in the end the 'multiple street lights' option disappears.

I choose the 'emergency' one anyway.

Phone rang and rang and rang. no answer yet.

Have now spotted this, which appears if you check the "more than five out" box:

    0800 23 23 23 Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to 3.40pm

    0131 200 2000 weekdays 5pm to 8am and weekends.

10 minutes listening to the phone ring. finally someone answered.

apparently has been emailed to the team.

    no job number or anything.

if you pass that way tonight, let me know if they're on.
