Interesting analysis of a cycle / car accident.

Seems to contradict himself a bit, blames a massive big block of concrete that obscures the cyclist’s view but then says we all need to be aware at all times and that is true.

Good infra wouldn’t take away the need to be alert but it would help

Poor cyclist had a green light for going left and Maybe even for going right though I got confused at that bit but not for going straight on

I go through that junction every Wednesday and will look out, mostly it is pedestrians running in front of you but the green lights are confusing.

This driving instructor guy defending the cyclist for j7mping the red unlike man6 of the commentators it seems.

    Very interesting video.

Of course, the junction is only that complicated because maximising vehicle flow rate is the priority.

He mentions the planter and shows street view from before, but doesn't make the connection that it is there because the line has been extended so the previous buffer stop can't be used.

I wondered if it could be placed further west but I assume not due to the crossover.
