@karlonsea from twitter is visiting next week avec Brompton. Looking to meet folk / see around.

Anyone else up for a meet-up? Summerhall I guess, given Akva's sad demise? Up for a different suggestion as well. I heard that the Diggers is now running the Caley premises.

But figure Summerhall has best bike parking.

Argyle Bar? - Bike racks across the road and on the favourite route to Meadows. Supports owner Fiona too. Good choice of beers.
Not been on forum/Twitter so much as print job to sort and been a few bikes.

I would like to meet up with him
Have enjoyed his you tube videos (Karl on sea)both on his Brompton and by velomobile. I was tempted to buy his Mango velomobile that he had up for sale on eBay a few months ago but considered the hilly borders were not ideal for a not particularly light velomobile.

Ask the visitor how much a standard old style brompton weighs, the version which starts to fold if you lift it and only stays together in one piece if you are sitting on it.

    Thanks

Is for a company I am hoping will lug it for me daily from Ilkley to various stops on England’s most gentle long distance path. Doing this with family members and will need something to do pm to give family members a break

Good to catch up with Laidback, Mcairney, and KarlOnSea. May have convinced Karl to come to Pop on his tall bike.
