We have a Croozer for 2 bike trailer which we no longer need and we would like to sell.

It is an older model but is in pretty much the same condition that I got it second hand from this forum. They are well made and versatile piece of kit. We have used it with our girls as a bike trailer, towing smoothly and easily. It connects at the rear hub of the bike so doesn't affect your balance. It was great to get us all out and about, and we used it for getting them to/from nursery once or twice a week for a few years.

It easily converts to a running buggy, which joined me on a few parkruns, has a small wheel to convert it into a stroller, which is useful if you want to pop into a supermarket or are cycling somewhere and then plan to walk around. It also collapses down for easy storage.

Internally there are safety harnesses for the kids and at the rear there is a massive storage area to fit all the necessary bits and bobs for a family outing, or a few bags of shopping.

We were thinking about £50, message me if interested.

I'm out in Silverknowes but pick-up could also be from South Bridge area. Note that there are also two connectors which attach to the rear hub so you can use the trailer with two bikes without having to change things around.

I also have the original trailer flag. The one in the picture was made out of an old hi-vis vest.

@biggles1982 Let me know if you are still interested. We have building work coming up and so will look to put the trailer up on fb marketplace and gumtree at the weekend as we need the garage space to decant house contents.

Answer is that it won't work with the standard hitch but you can replace your existing thru axle with a Croozer thru axle with integrated hitch or adapter. https://www.croozer.com/en/bicycle-trailer-hitch-finder/thru-axles

I use a quick release cargo trailer on my through axle bike without bother. The hole through the middle of my through axle is large enough to take a quick release.

The connection is as solid as my old child trailer was on a QR bike.

However I am only towing cargo so my risk appetite is likely to be quite different to that of someone towing a child.

The croozer has a safety loop where the arm of the trailer attaches to the hitch. this loops around the frame so that the hitch or articulated part of the trailer arm were to fail, your kids would still be attached to your bike.
