Thanks for setting it up again Gembo. See you on the Ayr/(Troon)/Glasgow train sometime..I'm always at the wrong end for the bike carriage on that train!

@paddyirish, Shame I didn't read this earlier. The racing started at 12.30 so entries are now closed.

@srd they meant the Giro Donne yesterday

TdF kicks off today amidst the riots except it kicks off in Spanish Basque Country.

Still an hour or two to change your team

Not sure how many withdrawn riders?

@gembo oh right. I had earlier thought the TDF velogames entries closed at 12.30 Friday for some reason.

My team entirely unstrategic. but not going to change anyone now.

I hadn't realised they were both racing! probably would have chosen Simon instead of Adam if I had realised.

Super exciting end to the stage from 20km out

But alas my ITVx crashed. Highlights well worth watching. The Victor flying. Again amazing legs after lumpy stage. Too amazing?

This tour has been the best ever. Maybe Hinault LeMond up there too. And Anquetil-Poulidor Poulidor?

    Rest day tomorrow.

    Hilly time trial Tuesday

Then last big alpine mountain stage Wednesday near Beaufort where I cycled once In Late May early June and it was Winter.

Has the real goats perching on the vertical cliffs. Not sure what Virgin are trying to say with their advert where the goats then go hang gliding. But do accept terrible things are happening to donkeys, bears, big cats, poor children with cleft palates, Ian botham and poor families. The latter in fact I cracked on the other day in a weak moment. The charity muggers take one pound of the three pounds I am now pledging each month.

Team Cofidis were one of those to tell spectators that they “don’t need a cellphone to make memories”. However, the Tour de France entered into a new partnership with the social media giant TikTok shortly before this year’s race began and has actively encouraged fans to create content.

The winner nailed it in his analysis, this far into week 3 teamwork can make the dream work with those tired legs in pursuit

    Wait a minute

Terrible things are happening to donkeys, still

    BUT

David Morrisey doesn’t narrate the advert anymore. So no shouting.

    Just not the same
