Is mine as we've been told that to clear out the lockers in our cycle store and that nothing is to be left there overnight.
This pretty much renders the lockers useless given they are primarily used by regular cycle commuters for storing things like toiletries, clothes etc.

Having responded it seems like my suspicion about this being driven by a need to acquire lockers for staff members displaced by a flood in the building (as well as a cost-saving move as there are admittedly about 100 lockers currently unused) has been confirmed.

They did mention security and I mistakenly forgot to make the point that from a security standpoint I'm more concerned about my not inexpensive bike than I am about £20 worth of shower gel and moisturiser

Name of employer kept anonymous but I don't think you need to be Hercule Poirot to figure it out...

I'm actually surprised they don't appear to be registered according to https://www.cycling.scot/what-we-do/cycling-friendly/employer

They are highly spread out with a massive estate of building of different sizes/ages etc so hard to be uniform in that regard I guess.

I did find one department was granted a CFE award in 2019 (not mine)

Ironically one of the other tenants in our building is though!

If they are that concerned about security relating to items stored in cycle lockers, perhaps they will have similar concerns about items stored in desk ped drawers or in office cube lockers, or in vehicles parked in the car park.

If they are immovable on security, wire mesh cage lockers are a thing.

They are actually on the map. Not at the most obvious address, but they are there.

Are we opening a book on whether the person who came up with this drives to work and has a private office?
