A few folk are meeting for a not standard PY tomorrow (Friday 11th) at Sodaberg, Middle Meadow Walk. All welcome, O8:00-ish onwards.

Coffee* and buns and chat with Dave, Morningsider, Urchaidh, Chrisfl, Unhurt and IainMcR. Think everyone was amazed at how warm and humid the morning was already. Tricky headwind afterwards on the bicycle expressway out towards Edinburgh Park.

Solid turn out, and in the end gembo also got his loan hedge trimmer so victory all around!

The chocolate ball has improved since my last PY with the addition of sugar granules (of course ;-)

Thanks Dave both hedges trimmed, just avoiding chopping the elderly neighbour’s head off as your trimmer is so huge that I can cut her side as well as mine. Three or four annoying bits on the other neighbour’s side, he doesn’t garden and indeed is moving away after twenty years. Will try to get them today before returning trimmer, forgot about the Beethoven tune on the chargers ha, Hopeful I get his permission to remove some blow in saplings that are only getting bigger. Indeed they are touching his house now and going across the phone wire but he ain’t bothered.

What so I can take poor Janet’s head off?

I nipped over the wall as higher on the eastern side so could get the last wee straggly bits with just my normal long shears.

    All good

I am just waiting on the second battery to play Beethoven. It is taking longer than the first one to charge up. I have wd40’d the blades and all is back in the handy bag.

I have some ales as payment , possibly stout and possibly red beer. No labels so you will have to guess. They come form Tom’s Brewery (well his home brew shed in Currie but one day he will be famous)
